The Hummingbird

Wheaton, Maryland (2021)

This papier-mâché hummingbird sculpture was created in collaboration with high school participants from Identity, Inc. for the Wheaton Arts Parade. The project provided an opportunity for students to reconnect and rebuild a sense of community after the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this creative experience, we aimed to ease the transition back to in-person learning by fostering joy, collaboration, and artistic expression.

The Crane

Washington, DC (2019)

This mural, featuring a white crane painted on a storm drain, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving our local Washingtonian waterways. With the help of community members from the Lamond-Riggs neighborhood, we transformed this space into a vibrant call to action, emphasizing our shared responsibility to protect the Anacostia watershed.
